Mapping your understanding
03.12.04 (9:49 pm)   [edit]
Hello boys and girls. It is I, SuperThinker, your superblogging friend. I hope you are all well!

I've been traveling around alot lately so I've thinking about maps. Maps are a great invention! If you're not sure how to get from here to there--just pull out a map and follow the path.

Word Maps work in the same way. If you're not sure what a word means, you can map out a path that will lead to your understanding. Here's an example of a Word Map:

On the top of the map you write what you think a word is like and on the bottom you write what it's not like. To the right you write a definition based on what you think the word is like.

Boys and girls, can you make a Word Map? Try it out and have your teacher send me your word maps to post on this blog.
